We are always trying to broaden our sense of design and the landscape by traveling to visit built projects, natural wonders, and historical designs. Join us on one of our legendary trips to the East & West Coasts or abroad. Click the trip you want to preview and browse the sketchbooks for trip notes and photographs.

The east coast trip offers students an opportunity to visit such well known projects as Fallingwater and Central Park. We start in Boston and work our way south to Washington DC. The trip is urban in character and students have freedom to do some exploring on their own.

The west coast provides a unique context in which to study Landscape Architecture. We visit alums, professional offices, and famous works, as well as Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, and Lake Tahoe. Cities include Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.

Our annual trip to Asia in August provides students with the opportunity to visit built works in several countries. A highlight of the trip is visiting the Royal gardens in Kyoto. 5th year seniors may choose to remain in Asia and work in an office for the fall semester
