teh late afternoon. Experience the nightlife in Bangkok.
Wat-Yai
Chaya Mongkol - ancient city with small temples. Sri Satchanalai
Historical Park - old ruins. Boat ride after lunch at a riverside
restaurant. Site visit at King's Park.
Flight
Bangkok to Hong Kong. Visit Hong Kong Park, which includes extensive
conservatory, aviary, thai chi garden, extensive water gardens, and
bonsai court. . The Bank of China Building by I.M.
Pei. Boat ride across the harbor. Evening shopping from
street vendors.
Hong Kong Housing
Authority. Two site visits of housing developments. Belt
Collins Hong Kong office visit.
Site visits to more
residential projects, inlcuding harbor boat ride to "Discovery Bay"
which is only water accessable. Residential re-hab projects by
Belt Collins.
Depart Hong Kong
for Tokyo Narita Airport. Take the late train into Tokyo and "Higashi
Koegeni." The trip is starting to be "real" now, as things matter
now more than beofre, making connections and meeting people. Japan
is very expensive, and worth saving money for through the previous partsof
the trip. Move into the "Gaigene" House where they will be staying
for the semester.
